In John 20:10–18, we see how the risen Christ transforms Mary Magdalene’s sorrow into joy, fear into faith, and despair into hope. Because Jesus is alive, we are no longer defined by our past, enslaved by our fears, or left without hope. Through God’s Word, we hear the voice of our Savior and are reminded of His amazing grace. Now, like Mary, we are called to proclaim the good news that Jesus Christ is risen and alive today!
